Lea Michele plans to celebrate her 27th birthday on Thursday night with a quiet get together.
Life & Style can reveal that the Glee star has opted for a small celebration following the July 13 death of her boyfriend and co-star Cory Monteith.
"It's her first without Cory. She'll celebrate with her girlfriends and have a low-key night," an insider close to Lea tells Life & Style. "It's going to be very hard for her. It's the first special moment celebrating without him."

It turns out that the actor was planning something special for her before he passed away.
"She really thought he'd be her husband, so it's going to be very lonely without him," the source shares.
Nearly a month after Cory died from an alcohol and drug overdose, Lea spoke publicly for the first time at the Teen Choice Awards in LA. She dedicated her win to the 31-year-old in her acceptance speech for Choice TV Actress: Comedy.

As Life & Style reported, the third episode will focus on the death of Cory's character, Finn Hudson.
"We loved Cory and we loved Finn and it feels like a huge loss and a huge heartache not to have either of them around," creator Ryan Murphy recently said. "We're trying to craft an episode that's not just about us grieving but about a lot of the young fans grieving."
